Boldmere have one of the largest learn to swim schemes in the West Midlands. We actively adopt the A.S.A National Teaching Plan and follow their awards scheme.

Our instructors follow a 12-week plan constructed by the chief instructor, covering all the requirements to equip our swimmers with the necessary skills to develop in the water.

At the end of the cycle the swimmers are assessed as they look to achieve their distance / skill awards (level according to the group a swimmer is in) and either progress or remain in the same group.

Our successful swimmer turnover is largely due to the expertise of our team of instructors and strong communicaton between teaching groups.
